Our Melbourne office is a very leisurely two-minute stroll from the renowned café-lined Greville St. We are a five-minute walk to the Prahran Market and Prahran Station and a short drive to all of Melbourne’s freeways. Our office provides an exceptional working environment in a leafy landscape.

The Role

RMA designs exceptional traditional and contemporary residences across Australia. Based either in Melbourne or Sydney, Interior Designers need to be aligned with RMA’s design aesthetic. A willingness and ability to become an expert on our project processes, standards of production and construction documentation is key, as is a desire to contribute to the high standard of design and craftmanship which the RMA brand is renowned for.

Key Criteria

  • Interior Designer with strong design intuition and natural skill
  • 4+ years experience in high-end Residential
  • Proficient in Revit, Microsoft office packages, (Adobe desirable)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, imagination, inquisitiveness, commitment, balance, loyalty and empathy are valued traits
  • Willingness to take on leadership and participate in a mentorship program
  • The ability to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of a project (i.e. making sure office standards are adhered to, maintaining oversight on all aspects of a project including work carried out by others etc.)
  • Respond to a project brief and budget, with an eye to meeting contractual milestones and client needs
  • Work collaboratively with a range of specialist consultants and clients to ensure their input is fully integrated into design and project objectives at all stages
  • Generate clear interior architectural documentation so that projects can be costed, built and completed in accordance with the brief, timeframe, cost and quality objectives
